Hey, i like pocky, although that may have something to do with there being an entire Hayate No Gotoku episode about it but... Its good, everything can't be absolutely amazing can it?
So I went on this field trip one day and we stopped at comic book store. I noticed they were selling pocky and I've always wanted to try it. I bought a pack and was kind of disappointed, I mean it was good and all but I expected it to be some crazy sort of taste that I've never experienced but it just tasted like a regular chocolate covered waffer. So has anyone else tried it?
P.S. I also bought some senzu beans (green jelly beans) pretty cool!

Never got into pocky when I was in Japan. I miss meiji chocolate the most especially the chocalote strawberry thins. They were excellent.
Me too i just tryed it a couple of weeks ago and I though it sucked even though everybody says its great. All it was to me was a preztel (with no salt) and a really bad chocolate on top.

i depends on what kind you get. regular chocolate tastes plasticy and almond crush as well as strawberry.other than that its not really good

anyways, it's true that pocky can be quite ordinary, but there are different types that might suit your fancy. if you want to pursue it, that is. . .
there's the basic chocolate, but also flavors like strawberry and milk. my personal favorite is Pumpkin Pocky, it has a very "orange-y" flavor. and there's also the "deluxe type" that has extra chocolate, fudge type things, drizzles of other flavors, all that jazz.
i guess what makes it so popular is that there are lots of different types and tastes, especially for the adventurist type.
but, that is neither here nor than. honestly, it's nice to not hear people rave about it for once~
Oh Thank You Abu. Yeah that’s right there more than one flavor for Pocky dessert though.
My Favorite two are Glico Almond Crush Pocky and Glico Strawberry Dessert Pocky, always with me, while I am shopping or using Net…
Pumpkin Pocky , Umm I tried once ,and I will never try it agine ..I didn’t like it ..
