no but i dont care either. Kenshis the best with his telekinesis, katana, and taichi... and damnit i cant even have a discussion without it being labled a favorite, i dont even no what a favorite is

every sword requires you to be skilled n to practice to master it.

Personally start off with the wooden verisons of the swords n practice!

Then increase the weight n get use to the weight of the sword.

Each sword has it pros n cons

ya, and the wooden sword for practice idea is definately a good one. swinging a real sword around as a novice would not be safe to those around you.

Swinging around a sword without practice is not only dangerous to everyone around you, it's dangerous to YOU!!!

good thing i have years of practice then huh? ya the value of a sword is based on the skill of the user.

PS a yoda style line was about to come out but i stopped it.

Swords were still being made at the time of the American Civil War. I was surprised to learn about that. Even though very few of the swords are still around they were made at one point.

sabres were used by commanders in the civil war, they were better than bayonettes for close combat. however common soldiers didn't have them because it was just one more thing to carry.
