    Re: Swords

the folded metal style of the japanese was once attempted in england, but the sword collapsed under it's own wait.
that just shows how truely ingeneus the japanese really were at swordsmithing. the metal they used was so refined that some of their swords weighed next to nothing

(there was a legend that truely powerful katana floated but i think thats BS)

thanks to zyta for the sick sig and avy!

    Re: Swords

well i seen how they make the swords, apparently during the process there's a lot of complex things involved. But at the end the sword maker had this criteria, the sword had to have the colour of the moon or something like tht.

Anyways there's the internet to find wut the exact process is

    Thanks for the siggy Ky-lyrra

Where the hell do you get all this nonsense?

And for anyone's information, the Japanese were not the only ones who folded the metal for their swords. This was done because the Japanese metal was very impure. Folding metal a number of times will help get out the impurities.

    Re: Swords

^^Pure metal usually refers to only one type of metal. And sometimes pure metal can be either weaker or stronger than other non-pure metals.

A big thanks to Renn for the sig! THANK YOU!

    Re: Swords

The best metal combo I have found is.
Steel and a tiny amount of aluminum.
I whould use a sword like that very well, strength and speed all in one.
