Um, ecchi? All the time, I hear weird and quirky tales about how taboo the Japanese world is. I realize of course that the rapidly-evolving Japanese subcultures may appear, at first glance, horrifyingly reprobate to conservative and naive Westerners such as myself. With this in mind, I still find myself being shocked by new finds despite having braced myself for the next asian culture shock. And this discovery of mine is no exception. Behold, Japanese decadence at its finest; it's pervy and it's public!

Um, yeah, I'm pretty darn positive that's the point. It's for a bunch of middle-aged, socially depraved Japanese businessmen to have a glance at something pretty on the way to and from work.
Uh... the character is cute, but the whole thing in general is creepy. I wonder how people other than the "perverted middle-aged men" respond to this.
