Lovers / couples in Japan also exchange chocolates. The exchange of jewelery etc is not that common on Valentines and White Day.

Yeah, I placed orders at a chocolatier for chocolates, which I'll be giving to everyone who gave me gifts on Valentine's Day (even the ones who make me cringe, because I'm so nice and fair). What on earth is the "Japanese V-Day"? >__> It can be celebrated in any way, anywhere. I don't see why we have to start breaking down Valentine's Day into different "types" according to country.
