    my name in japanese would be megami. when people translate their name into japanese do they typically do it by meaning or phonetically? if both is available, which is preferred? just curious!

    I do both, but I prefer phonetically over translated because that's the closest to my name overall ^-^

    my name in japanese is 'areguzandora'
    or other pronunciation is areikusandoura. depending on how you make the sounds.
    but i also found other sites and here is what they gave me:
    Arekandera
    but most of all i seemed to find this one different from the rest:
    Yamashita-Ayumi
    and it means "walk your own way." same def for all the others. i find this name more accurate anyway.
