Re: Are you a Shibuya or Harajuku fashion person?

My parents were there. They'd have died if they saw me walking around in funny clothes. And my cousin's lived in Malaysia half her life and Australia the other half, so it's not difficult to see why she doesn't really fancy that sort of dressing. Like I said, some do look all right - when they mix and match properly, or when they do the "whole" look. Not if they just throw on a lot of things........... but then again, that disastrous element is pretty characteristic of Harajuku street fashion, so if you took away the OTT-ness, it wouldn't be original anymore.

I'll scan some pages from the mags I have later.

    Good luck Equinn~!!! ^_^
To me it doesn't matter. I go either Shibuya or Hara depending on the mood as well as the people watching me

If i hade to choose it would be Shibuya its very simple and you don,t stand out in it, i don,t like standing out.
For Harajuku it stand out to much and it dosn,t realy look good its a litle bit to much, but if people like it then they should defently where it.

Errrrrr. Read GALS! and you'll change your mind about Shibuya street fashion being "simple & not outstanding".

Even though the two clips were focused on women, I can honestly say that I'm a blend of both. Majority of my wardrobe is Shibuya, but I have no problem with going Harajuku. I find it rather funny, my style was mainly Harajuku about four years ago.

It's really not messy at all. In fact it's quite organized, I took me longer to get dressed when I was more toward the harajuku fashion. I suppose it's all about "how" you look at it.
