Well if u find one 100 by 100 just change the dimension to 80 by 80 use photoshop it's easy :)
You can also use microsoft paint to resize the pic if you don't have photoshop, as SenseiGohan said. I don't find the size of avatars to be such a big deal at all. Just be happy that they increased the signature size and avatar size because what AO used to have was too small to notice. Maybe that was to help out 56k internet users since everyone does not have broadband and jpegs can take up alot of memory.
What are the sig sizes knwo cos like no one is following what it says is the correct size anyways when u upload a sig, most sigs are bigger then what it says?
