    And here I was going to say psycology.

    I don't care if it has action, drama, or whatever. If it doesn't touch me in some way emotionally I'm not interested. Usually that requires a good storyline. Everything else just supports it. If it doesn't exist, you can't hide it.

    That, that's with me too, sorta' that is if it isn't action. If it's action then I'm focusing a lot on the action and a tiny bit less at story.

    The storyline is essential, for me. You can have actino up the yahoo, but if the story sucks, then... What's the point in watching? It gets boring very quickly!

    And as Arrianna pointed out, emotions are a huge aspect, as well. If I don't cry, get mad and throw stuff, pout, or get really happy... It's not good anime.
