I and I'm sure other mods have been getting reports of people spamming up the PMs of our members. I have a few things to say to these people.
1) go spread your site on some other forum we will not tolerate your spammy bullcrap on this site.
2) Anyone Reported by a Member of spamming the PMs will be submitted for a ban request
If you would like to advertise your site Then put it in your signature this is what you use to promote your site.
I'm sure you PM spammers are all "Well how do I get members to my site" well one thing you don't bug them or do shameless plugs and what not if they want to look at your site they will click on your link in your sig Not because you PMed them. Just a valid note PM spamming is against the rules of this board and is a bannible offence. So stop your pathetic spaming of the PMs and advertise your site like anyone else dose. With your signature

THANK YOU!!!! i realy havent noticed lots of website spam in the forums, but i got like 6 or 7 pms about "join my site" crap...and frankly....i dont care...if its ppl i know then ill click the link by the sig and check it out- your compleely right there!!

I received a pm like this once. I forgot the name but the site he told me was somekind of "pirate" forum.
I got that one too and reported it, then had a friend DDoS attack it. As you can tell even the slightest bit of spam like that sets me off in ways you don't wanna mess with. I wonder if it's back up yet?Originally Posted by Nameless
