Thread: Angelic Friend (Poem)

Not too sure what to say,
cause we don't talk about much.
not that I'm very good at talking,
just writing poetry.
on your wings,
you carried me,
when another had struck me down.
now i'm better and standing.
thanks be to you,
for lending an ear,
and your wings.
like a true angel,
your wings wrapped around me,
and comforted me,
though you had little to say.
but you didn't need to say much,
just that you understand.
thanks again my true friend,
the angel of this world.
now i must spread my wings again,
and fly off to try once again.
maybe i can save them again,
the one's i lost.
so i'll come back,
but i'll not pain this time.
maybe i'll even help you,
one day down the line....
thank you my angelic friend.
