    Thank you recipiant. The uk has about a third of that list currently on the shelves (on the high street) and about half the list on r2 dvds. Can I ask what region dvds are used in New zealand?

    I may need my eyes tested but does that map show japan as being region 2!

    Fair enough! What I now want to know is why it takes so long (translations aside) to bring a japanese anime over to the uk. I am aware translation will take a good 3-9 months to achieve, but there are anime, such as cowboy bebop, which have only just been put on the shelves, 5-6 years (approx) after the series was originally released. Personally I put this down to poor market research, but if there are other reasons then please tell me.
