If you like fighters, Naruto: Narutimate Hero 2 for PS2 is good, as well as Naruto: Gekitou Taisen 3 for Gamecube, respectively. However these are not out in America.
A more mecha/action game that's good for a run is the PS2 Zone of the Enders game.
What anime series based video games would you recommend?
I played the PSX Inuyasha game and was not disappointed considering it IS like 6 years old... and ordered Inuyasha: The Secret of the Cursed Mask, but it hasnt been delivered yet...
I hear that the Dragon ball games are good even from people that dislike DB or any anime at all. Any Opinions?

if you like Full Metal Alchemist, you might try Full Metal Alchemist for the PS2. i dont have a PS2 so i havent played it yet(though i heard it was really good) also if you consider the kingdom hearts games anime then those are for the PS2 also(again havent played but heard they are great)
92% of teens moved on to rap music. If you're part of the 8% that rock out everyday, put this in your sig
FMA for PS2 is good...
o, the .hack games are good (up to part 4)
and uh...., the new dbz looks ok, havent tried it yet though...
but damn, i hate it how most of the anime games are fo ps2...
now i have to buy one....
THE KARAKURA LION JET!!! XD
I'm not trying to pretend to be a mod or anything but isn't this the same type of thread as 'what is your favorite anime based video game?"
Just a thought...
It comes closes, but since people are posting with more than just lists I'm inclined to leave it open though I will be moving this to the video game section.
I can't really recommend a game based on a previously released anime. For the most part they've all been about as bad as video games based on movies.
Clan? What Clan?
I'm the Master. I need no Clan.
*yawn* I have a list...
> the .hack series (w00t)
> Fullmetal Alchemist for PS2 (super w00t)
> Shaman King for GBA (PS2 version sucks)
I'm talking about the Castlevania ripoff
not the new ones
> Samurai Deeper Kyo for GBA
(it's a decent fighter
sorta like Street Fighter and Soul Calibur)
> Inuyasha for PS2 (YAY!)
> the Yu-Gi-Oh! games
(if you're into that sorta thing)
> Pokemon
(even tho it's the other way around... game > show)
> GITS: Stand Alone Complex
(only play this if you're a hardcore fan
if you're not, keep your distance)
> Vampire Hunter D for PS1
(not bad at the time)
> Naruto for GCN
(it's Naruto so it must be good)
> Mobile Suit Gundam
(the console games kinda suck
you're blowing the crap out of things and they're playing a friggin love song
really hurts the mood
the old SNES Gundam Wing fighter kicked ass
and the latest Gundam Seed fighter for GBA wasn't that bad
VERY unbalanced)
> Zone of the Enders series
(same as Pokemon, but I just gotta add it)
> Dragon Ball Z/GT
(how can I forget Budokai?
some advice: get #3, it's the better than the first one
more characters
story mode kinda sucks
for GBA, Supersonic Warriors and Legacy of Goku 2 & 3:Buu's Fury are worth the money
I hear Sagas is going to kick ass)
> Hamtaro
(uhh....... only play when stoned or if you're 6 or under)
> Yu Yu Hakusho
(two words: Budokai clone)
......
that's all the anime-based games I could think of
I know there's more out there...
oh, they're planning on releasing a One Piece game
that'd be interesting
GUM-GUM POWER!!
question: is there a Samurai X/Rurouni Kenshin game out there?

I love my girlfriend.
I loved to see Dragonball Z and Pokemon in RPG form, just like the Final Fantasy series. Its a shame they didn't even come close to that after many failures.
