Thread: Anime is cool, but some of the people who like it aren't.

i know exactly wat u mean , most ppl think its crazy that i like anime , cause im the person that plays all the sports and rocks at them all , basically like a preb in the school , but no one would expect me to like it

same, no1 at skool or any of my frends have any idea or wood ever guess that i luv anime and am constantly d/l more all the time, its not sumthing i try to hide and im not ashamed of it but i know evry1 will be shoked if they do find out and most of ppl i know think of anime as disgusting pornography such as hentai, sum ppl will just never understand.

i really don't understand how ppl don't like anime

This is why none of my friends are anime fans. I avoid you anime fans like you were THE PLAGUE.

It's not because you are geeks. I am one too.

But the fact is that I don't want to talk to you, to any of you about my interests and have you actually be able to discuss it with me. My hobby is my own, and I don't share it on that close of a level with others.


Plus, a lot of anime fans have this habit of imitating their favorite characters. And let me tell you, if I had to deal with that when I was hanging out with people, I can guarantee you I'd snap and kill EVERY ONE OF THEM within a week.

So, yeah, little hint for some of you "otakus". Pretending to be a fictional character is NOT cool. We know it's fake, and it just makes the rest of us want to burn your face off with an iron

But, really, some people aren't 'cool' in most peoples eyes. I think coolness is a myth of some sort.

one kid that moved to Japan loved anime so much he would dress and the costumes for school. He was a great friend and everthing but to much in love with anime

OK...don`t u think ur a bit to evil ? If they like to imitate their heros let them...jezus. Their hobby is their own. ( hehe )
