Wow I don't know, but this seems like a GREAT idea! Highly unlikely though. Unless the Anime was released from the same producer/company whatever. :] I like the idea of it and I'll definately buy it if there was such a thing. :]
What if there was a fighting or RPG game that had dozens upon dozens of anime characters in it. It could be set uplike Kingdom Hearts with a great storyline or made into a Soul Caibur or Mortal Kombat game having sweet characters like Kenshin taking on Vash in a death match. Could there be a chance for such games created and what matches and boss battles would be best?

no unless you only gather some characters that are similar together it doesn't make sense
try putting Ichigo from bleach and the NGE Evas and you will see what i mean
or put dragonball and pokemon together

A company in Japan is already working on a fighting game that includes just about every significant Mecha that exists, so you can battle EVA-01 against Wing Zero...

That would be great, id like to see Cloud Versus Kilik or Raphael from SC, but a battle with Sephiroth and Gordo wouldn't be bad either.
