Credits: 1,398 | I'm considering attending this year along with conceptx, from AT, since I've heard it's a lot bigger than fanimecon, which is held up in the bay area. I don't really know what to expect except for a bigger everything. Maybe you could fill me in on some of the essentials?

Credits: 310 | I went for the first time last year, and may be going again this year if I could find out from them whether or not I will be volunteering. OR if they will garauntee a new ticketing system Last year was very, VERY painful during registration. I've never had to wait 3 1/2 for a friggin ticket. My friends didn't prereg and managed somehow to get theirs twenty minutes after registration opened. besides that I had an okay time, but it's definitely a young cosplayers world(I thought the gang of little naruto's were cute). the harmony gold panel was the only one where most people were my age. I can only hope they have more guests this year, try to keep up with the AX chairs journal, maybe he'll say more....

| Newbie  | Anaheim Convention Center... i'm like 15 min away from anaheim. i never been to an anime convention or expo. When is it (dates)? How does this work, someone said that you need to preregister, i can't just go the same day and buy my ticket? Is it worth the trouble? what can you find in it besides movies & merchandise..do they have music shows or do they show a movie? can someone explain what exactly goes on in there? |
