Thread: Anime Expo 2005...

I'm considering attending this year along with conceptx, from AT, since I've heard it's a lot bigger than fanimecon, which is held up in the bay area. I don't really know what to expect except for a bigger everything. Maybe you could fill me in on some of the essentials?

I went for the first time last year, and may be going again this year if I could find out from them whether or not I will be volunteering. OR if they will garauntee a new ticketing system

Last year was very, VERY painful during registration. I've never had to wait 3 1/2 for a friggin ticket. My friends didn't prereg and managed somehow to get theirs twenty minutes after registration opened.

besides that I had an okay time, but it's definitely a young cosplayers world(I thought the gang of little naruto's were cute). the harmony gold panel was the only one where most people were my age.

I can only hope they have more guests this year, try to keep up with the AX chairs journal, maybe he'll say more....

I'am sure this is not held near me. DAMN, I hate to be stuck in a poor country like mine....

I mean, in quebec we can not buy english game. This suck. we are obligate to buy them via internet a pay twice the price cause of the inportation taxes.

Im planning to go in 2005 (but just planning, I dont think I can make it).

I went on 2000 and 2001 (even went to the cake party down the hotel and get some autographs! ).

I expect funny videos like the one who wins best comedy music video.

I really hope i can make it. Im gettin over there one way or another. Im in LA dammit, i have no excuse to miss it! Must calm down now.....
