I too hope that there is no cowboy Bebop live action film......but if there is....you can be sure that at least half of the cast will be chock full of Dawsons Creek alumni
With Casshern, the ring, Animatrix, and James Cameron in current production with Battle Angel Alita, which is psuedo live-action and part CG, I was wondering what everyone thinks about this manga/anime to live action and vice versa becoming a trend like the Asian horror movies being adapted for america.
Good like spiderman, or bad like Catwoman?
I've heard Cowboy Bebop has been in development for a live action. And another question is....
What anime do you think would make a good live action movie?
I honestly would be afraid to see cowboy Bebop be live action. honestly, who would play ed?
And I don't reallly trust any anime/manga becoming a live action, Casshern was TERRIBLE

agreed it will probaly be a bunch of action and a crap story line if theres a cowboy bebop real live movie

Something like Hajime no Ippo would make a great live-action series of movie.

Well....
In the case of Cowboy Bebop a live-action movie is doable. Place it in the hands of a western, american director though and they're most likely going to **** it up with cheesy martial artrs and computer grahpics, totally ignoring the drive of the story and acting needed ot protray and build it.
Personally I don't think any animation should be made into a live-action series/movie ever. Especially in the case of Anime where the fact that it is animated only means more freedom to the director with how they want things presented. With actors, your limited to the laws of their ability and physical realm (though you can bend these with CG and other techniques).
If they make a CB live action movie I'll watch it depending on the actors involved.

The problem with any live-action is suitable actors and that's alway risky. . .
I just read on ANN that there are talks of a Last Exile live action. . . yikes.
IMO they should let Anime alone I know Weta is doing Evangelion Not that I have anything against Weta but Ann something for Asuka? Come on
Yeah i am looking forward to the evangelion movie tho, if done right it could blow almost anything away......just have to keep my fingers crossed
