Blew -and still blows- viewers away with it's gritty graphic style and entrancing music.
The only negative I have about that film is that they made Tomoe ugly.
From serene hawtness in the manga to serene blandness in the OVA.
All of Hayao Miyazaki's works are gold.
Akira was good and definitely a masterpiece.
In terms of series, Cowboy Bebop & Trigun are my considerations.
FlCl all the way, its the purely artistic with halarious humour.
uh lets see....Boogie Pop Phantom is another work of art, this anime is complex and gothic. these animes are almost ment to be artistic.

all of the Bebop episodes r gold, but the remix kinda sucks and It looks cheaper.

I would say InuYasha (I love u Sesshomaru!) and any movies by Studio Ghibli
Princess Mononoke and Grave of the Fireflies.. I thought those were just amazing pieces of work. The animation and storylines were just.. so heartfelt. When it comes to movies, I just can't see anything better than these two.
