Thread: Anime Pet Peeves

I hate anime that starts out well and end horrible or they rush the ending. Like the end of Gundam Seed, they could of put more into it. It felt rushed to me.

Hmm well this is easy.

Anime that has CRAP ending, pritty much 90 percent of anime, sigh they always end crap i donno why hey it's like they just think okay times up lets end this anime.

And love triangles ahhhh there are always love triangles.

Man loves women, women loves man, other women usely others womens friend also loves man and it goes on from there sigh.

Or were they try put in some love stuff when there is no need and all it does is annoy u, that just happend in Last Exile for me i mean there was no point to like 2 of there epps all it did was piss me off

Well a prime example is "Eyes of Mars". Mind you I have heard that the gov came in half-way through and told them they didn't like the script so they couldn't use it. Problem is they didn't even bother to make it match. I would have prefered they just flushed the first half then butcher a movie like that. Of course it happened with "Batman: Mask of the Phantasm" (studio head instead of gov.) as well so it's not just an anime thing. Either way it really annoys me.

The killing everyone off happens frequently though in anime. It's like they run out of ideas for a good ending so they just wipe everyone out and call it good. I don't mind so much when it matches the rest of the movie but when they just pull it out of nowhere.....

The USA. However "Eyes of Mars" was not made here.

I meant why would the us gov come in, and tell them what they wan't in the script. This isnt china ya know.

Ahhhh...gottcha. No, it wasn't a traslation etc. it was the original script. The 'Japanese'(?) gov felt it was to anti-government and shut it down/made them re-write. At least that is what I heard. Don't know where to actually check the facts. Either way the movie has serious problems.
