from what i've seen they lightly scetch on the paper with a pencil, then go back over it with a ink pen. and it is a drawing caligraphy pen most of the times that i have seen. but when i tried i realized how hard it is.
This is not really a debate, moving to the Graphics forum.
I really don't know, because when i zoom in on anime pictures, i can see the out linesa re perfect, something like this:Quote:

See how the darker part makes a line? its like that really up close, how do they do it?!?!
i am at a loss, unless it was made on computer.
Do you mean anime or manga? Most manga is Illustrated using a computer program. All anime is Illustrated these days.
 Well, i wanna make my pencil drawn pictures kinda like that, and i was really wondering if there was an easier way to convert it(besides going over the lines on a new layer and making them look better)
No, I'm afraid there isn't. You either have to clean it up with a pen before scanning or make an outline layer. Either way you're going over it. Honestly, the layer method is easier if you have a program that does vectoring or a stylus. If not I would recomend the pen.
