Moving to Anime/Manga because this is anything but a serious debate.
it seem that when I watch an anime show sometimes a friend of mine would say I dont like the voice of this character it should sound more like this or something. Has any one else felt the same way?

Well, when watching Last Exile dubbed, the only voice that really gets to me is that of Lavie. God, that voice drives me into all sorts of rage.
I dislike all english voice actors that dub over the Japanese, just coz I know that the Japanese voice actor did so much of a better job...
But what I reeeeeeeally hated was when anime was dubbed into Malay. Their voices are so high and fake, you just want to strangle everything within reach.
