Ah, I see trying to sophisticate a topic that aint... here's one:

"does manga provide a cheaper alternative to the inflated prices of our anime dvds?"

'Cause you give me something / That makes me scared, alright / This could be nothing / But I'm willing to give it a try / Please give me something
'Cause someday I might call you from my heart

I'd prefer anime. Because my cousin is making me read the gravitation mangas and they're too long!!! and I get bored when I read. I already saw the Gravitation anime too. and I thought it was better

I tend to like manga better than anime most of the time. There are a few exceptions. One of them being Mai Hime. I loved the anime, yet the manga was a completely different story. Liked the anime better, yet in other stuff like Bleach/Naruto I like manga 1000 times better. Then again it might just be because I get to find out what happens long before I get to see it on screen...

ha wut pyoro said is so tru
usually manga is a cheaper alternative for me.
i personally like manga better because the author doesnt really have a limit
in anime it needs to be a certain amount of time, etc., etc.
and the black and white isnt that bad cuz sometimes they have color for the first few pages ^^
and reading it the other way... bah, no prob for me
im korean so a lot of books i read are the other way XP

I don't mind both i guess....It's really hard to download certain anime series sometimes and i read manga to ease the dulling "pain" of not be able to watch it.... Besides, you get to appreciate how good the manga artist is able to convey the story through his or her words and pictures...
]A black abyss lies in the centre of me but no one feels it or sees it. It spurns and twists, sending sharp jolts of pain throughout my broken body. The pain never dies, slowly increasing. It finally consumes me as i stretch out to clutch at the last fragments of life
