Samurai Champloo and then there is EVA for more serious anime lovers and then there is Trigun for funny action packed that is usually what I have seen and also there is Voices of a Distant star very beautiful and moving if you like love and understanding animes.
You should try Cowboy Bebop its funny and action pact (and its my favorite anime show)
If u like to see blood, and a lot of shooting, go to Hellsing
When I was there I got Evangelion I dont regret it but it was over priced for used anime. Wish they'd had Hellsing oh well

You should try watching samurai champloo i like that one alot but alot of people on the thread think its a horrible anime because its all character based, which i agree on, i think it should have a better storyline than just follow the sunflower samurai. Another good anime would be gundam wing one of my favs.
