Anyone looking for a new vid card?? o_o

random I know, I'm kinda pissed* to an extent in that I got a rather new eVGA Geforce FX 5700 Ultra which plays every game I have like Halflife 2, Doom 3, just whatever and it plays it well. But for BF2 it plays it "alright" and I need more lol. I'm a whore like that and since I'm in a clan for that game I'm gonna buy a new card so I'll need to offload this one. So if any of you guys are interested or have a friend looking to upgrade let me know.

For those of you who would like specs on the video card he is selling:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814133143

Not sure if that is EXACTLY what he has, but if it is different he can probably just do a quick search and find the one he has. I know it is a different brand name, but generally I don't think there is a difference in cards with a different brand name.

yeah its semi close with the ramdac however note it has 128mb's of GDDR2 ram on it some versions did some didn't, mine said "limited" on it but I dont know how limited it was. Thats about the only main difference I see offhand.
uhm I dont know this ones probably only worth around 100ish with what the 6800's are costing. The 6800 GT I want is like 320 and its not even the BIG dog ;_; just make me an offer if you want it. more than likely I'll take it.

But then again, video cards based on the Nvidia G70 graphics are suppose to be coming out this fall, and rumors claim two to three times the performance of a 6800 Ultra!!!

Also note that the 6800 GT & Ultra does not support WMV9 hardware playback while the plain 6800 and all the 6600 line does...

omg nooooooooo X_X wait what all does that effect?

on the other yeah I was thinking if I can hold out till those new ones come out then these would drop in price, since I know those new ones will be insanely priced X_X and I dont really need super ultra power to conquer God, I just want my game to run better lol ^_^; just a mild jump since I'm still on an AGP board, once I up to PCI I'll get a beast maybe lol

WMV9 is the new codec that Microsoft is pushing for High Definition Video files. There have been a few anouncements of studios experimenting with HD Video releases. These are all in WMV9 format. (Software decoding for WMV9 does work, but it takes up a lot more CPU bandwidth then DVD/MPEG2 decoding... The codec is available in the Microsoft codec package for Windows Media Player 9, and is included in Media Player 10)

yeah I think I've downloaded some Hi def trailers before, which is kinda hit an miss, as in sometimes it works real well on my pc and then certain ones (like the trailer for "Serenity") dont work well at all, very choppy and whatnot. Makes me wonder if my 5700 even runs them well :\ which I guess I dont mind too much about that codec, since I dont really use it
