AO RPG Contest info thread

Start time: Saturday, March 28, 4:30 PM EST (Sharp)
Preparation: Get a good firm understanding of the Anime Online - Rules as you will have elements of the contest where you will be tested on this knowledge. Also you will want to get a general knowledge of how to play the RPG and how things in the RPG function and work. This will give you a comfort level in moving around in the RPG and you won't be at a disadvantage.
How the contest works: At the assigned time I will open a new area you can travel to via Deminad City, it will lead to the event area. From there you basically just follow the directions that will be labeled on the areas descriptions.

The contest will be split up into 4 parts. Rule knowledge, general battling, preforming basic tasks to obtain items needed to advance, and finally a small maze type of setup that will lead to the final area where I will be waiting for the winner.

Rewards: If the contest is less than 5 people there will be 1 winner, they will win a custom house in the RPG which will be only accessible to them. The house will include free inn, shops the sell half-priced equipment, a personal bank, and maybe some other things as I think of them. If there is more than 5 people taking part there will be 2 winners. The 2nd place winner will receive 1000 board credits, and a in game weapon equivalent in power to the cloud sword, but with a custom name of their choosing. If there are more than 10 players there will be 3 winners, and the third place winner will receive 500 board credits and an emerald armor piece of their choosing. In addition to these placements rewards there will also be a consolation prize for everyone who took part in the contest. The consolation prize for those who didn't make placement will be 20,000 Gil in the RPG, and 100 credits on the forum.

This should be fun for all, so do try to make it if you can.

If you are interested in taking part please post in this thread with your RPG Character's name. Please note only members who have 100 posts and have been a part of AO for 30 days or more can play the RPG. So if you don't have either you cannot take part in the contest. Sorry.

Sorry, you are still too new to the site to play the RPG, the RPG requires at least 30 days on the site and 100 posts. This has been like this for a while. Hope you understand.
