Ummm... No you can't. Its a little something called "International Copyright Law", which states that the original copyright holder can control their intellectual property how ever they see fit, and they retain that copyright untill 50 years after the holders death, then it becomes public domain.Originally Posted by jaderabbit

My choice of career (web design) requires me to know copyright law, so I don't get into crap.
And for animewallpapers, creators don't really care because for them, its free advertising, but the moment people start making money on it or people start claiming the work as their own, then they start caring.
As for AR, we're not giving out cash prizes, we're not that dumb. And our contest is to attact members.

im a little new here and post my art as soon as possible but how do we get the prize??????
do we have to write copy right at the bottom of the fanart??? lol
no fanart is ur own.
i will have the cash priozes discussion with spdude, i think it's bull myself though because the person saying that makes walls with copyrighted images as well! but he does make a point about making money.
BUT we are not paying you to make wallpapers, where paying to for your hard work and effort on a wall. THose who work the hardest make the money IT does not depend on what anime u are using. Where not paying u for the character but for the hardwork.

ok if i get my USB cable in time ill do my itachi drawing then its not all that great but its not all that bad and maby for a prize u can pm some one a bad out sig or sumtin or give them a rank like a picasso or somthing that would be cool the money might be a little complicated
