    Art Program

    Anyone know a good pc art program simular to photoshop but not as expensive? The only things i need are the basics, layers ability and if posible a few filters.

    Ever tried Gimp for Windows?
    I don't personaly have any experiences about that but
    I have head that it's good.

    Other choices would be paintshop but I am sure you have to pay for that as well. Also you could just use good old MS Paint also free but not the best program in the world for GFX.
