Who has had the biggest effect on you as far as artistic style? And not so much on your own art (but sure that too, why not) but i mean who's art has captivated you the most in your opinion? Please give a little explination. Mine are....
Frank Miller - his minimalism and gorgeous uses of high contrast b&w has always amazed me.
Hieronymus Bosch - I hope other people here know about his art, it was so ominous and foreboding but oddly beautiful.
Yoshitaka Amano - The man is just untouchable and his style is so remarkable.

whoa, i started this in the wrong room? yikes, didnt even realize. Sorry Len
well I would say Amano because his style is so beautiful and grasps the true essence of the chatacter.
Hokusai, Katsushika .
He was a Japanese Painter and Wood Cutter that lived between 1760-1849.
His print of "The Great Wave Off Kanagawa" is what inspired me to become an artist in the first place. Having done wood block prints my respect for his skill has only increased. Since impressionist artists such as Claude Monet, Edgar Degas, and Henri Toulouse-Lautrec also claim to have been inspired by him I'm in good company.
(sorry for the double post. feel free to delete.)

Akira Toriyama, that guy changed my style, and i'm proud of it.
for me... about every artistic style i see affect's me in some sort of way... that's the reason i never stick to a certain style.
