Atheism and Christianity

from what I can see, most religions are wrong, because
of the dogma, christains are 95% athiest, because every
one else is wrong, islam is the same way, only the eastern
religions are in any way open to new ideas, personly, this
sort of dogmatic crap makes me fear for the future of all mankind :nono:

By the way the words are heretic and infidel. Atheists are only people who don't believe in God/Gods. Or in other words, all atheists are either heretics or infidels but not all heretics and infidels are atheists.

Why don't older people accept others truths as youths? Well, the youthfull mind is subject to others opinions because he/she is trying to find themselves in the world, and they care a lot more what others think of them. Older people already gained a "world view" and were taught not to give that up. So they fight and bicker about it.

Even people who say others are "close minded" are full of bogus crap. They often express this when you disallow either athiesm or christianity "facts" to sway you one way. Example: the preacher calls you stupid and close minded if you tell him you believe in athiest views. Example 2: You try to "preach the gospel" to an athiest in a public place. He calls you close minded because you don't get "his truth".....In both these scenarios, the priest and the atheist are themselves close minded because I bet they never studied in detail what the others "truths" really are. Since athiest views are taught in public schools however, christians have some more knowlage than most athiests who know fully about christianity, but some atheists do read a lot of the bible as well, but not as much.

So do you just flame or call names without knowing what the other sides full views are? ALL OF THE VIEWS??? There are lots of "christian denominations" such as catholics, evangelicals, mormons,- do you look at all of them?

This of course is just athiesm and christianity, and there are lots of other religions and scientific beliefs out there that other poeple accept as truth and others don't.

Because athiests beleave that christians are brain washed with things that make non-sence such as devils, monsters... and athiests just want to make those closed mind free.

If my mom educaded me by telling me that there's Monsters under my bead, Ghosts or Devils do exist, I would live my miserable child life with fear and terror. :nono:

I think you may want to do some reading on the nature of
both atheism and Christianity. Somehow you've made some conclusions about the two ideologies that are a good ways off-base.

Christians DO NOT hate atheists. WHY? because Christians only find people who worships other Gods unfavorable, and atheists believe in no God, so Christians DO NOT i repeat have anything against atheists. As for atheists I would think they have nothing against Christians.

as for why they might hate one another if it's true...CONFLICT OF IDEAS it's that simple. Atheists want to open the minds of Christians (demons, angels, god, etc.), while Christians wants to save the Atheists from possibly falling into the path of sin through science (having multiple sex partners by using condoms).

Actually now thinking about i do agree with Pyoro. Christians only believe that worshiping other Gods is a sin, It's in the ten commandments!!

I really dont care what people think but you are right about the fact that people learn it when they are young. I on the other hand changed my idea on truth a long time ago. I dont personally think that any religion is right or wrong. I think they are all the same thing with different names. You know... Like telling a person one thing and telling them to pass it along. By the time it gets back to you. It could be really really different from what you had said in the first place.
