Thread: avatar emergency

to put in the URL just go to the link where the file is located, make sure it is the appropriate size (80x80 pixels is allowed by EAO) then simply right click the picture and then highlight and click "Copy image location". Return to EAO and go to the avatar set up page under "My Panel", scroll down to where the URL space is for your avatar, right click the text box and then select "paste location" and then you will have your avatar, if you have any trouble let me know.

First of all this is in the wrong section, second of all there is a FAQ about this very question, so let me quote it:

Q: How to I upload an avatar?

A: Goto user CP-> Avatar settings You can upload from a website or from your own computer. To use a URL in the URL box put the URL of the image you wish to use as your avatar. This image, however, must be no larger than 80x80. This will allow you to upload an existing avatar from another site. If you custom made your own avatar and want to use it you can upload it from your PC. To do this, click the "Browse" button and find the avatar you want to upload. After that click the "submit changes" button at the bottom of the window. You should have now successfully uploaded an avatar. It should appear below your name on the left side of your posts. ^_^

Also, make sure you crop your image to 80x80. If you do not know how to crop it, ask someone you may know who is good with images.

If you need help with cropping or anything else i've become quite adept at creating and editing pictures for sig.s and avatars. Ask away whenever you need to okay?

Here ya go, i rezised it a bit and then cropped it to show almost all the picture still for ya but it's a little smaller now, hope ya like it!
