Berserk, The Black Swordsman

The first time i watched Berserk i though that the end was a bit Cruel/Evil.... first i wanted a better ending to it but then later i though.... maybe it is the evil ending off The hawks and the spawn off the fifth demon that makes the series Superb. After a while i came to the dicision.... The end is the right end.... what u think? could/or should it have been a more happy'er ending? or is it just as it should bee?

Plz dont mind any off my mis-spellings

Well, Berserk is based on a manga that still isn't over, so it didn't really have a choice with the way it ended. I can't say was happy with ending, simply because I want to see Griffith get his ass beat. If that happens, then I'm ok with what happened.

But still u know.... abit cruel that Caska get rape and all.... and she's pregnant? or so i heard from people who has read the manga.... i dont even know if she survives....

Caska survives, although I think she's mentally broken, at least for awhile. I don't know if she ever recovers.

I've only read up to volume 27 (I'm a couple volumes behind), but so far Caska hasn't recovered. She still doesn't trust Guts. She does trust Farneeze though.

As for a happy ending, I remember reading somewhere that Miura stated that he wanted to give the story one, but that was a long time ago.

I finished watching the Anime series, but I felt really sad over the ending. But why doesn't Caska trust Guts? And how in the world does he escape and get to the blacksmith??? The ending's very unclear. I hope they make Berserk 2.
