Best action sequence!

I reckon the best ten second action sequence is in Full Metal Panic TSR when one of the evil sisters pulls her knife out in the stadium and does some flips and cart-wheels and cuts some guys up.

tough... can't choose just one... uhh...
there's the Mugen v. Jin fight on the first episode of Samurai Champloo
the two Spike v. Vicious fights ("Ballad of Fallen Angels" and "The Real Folk Blues pt. 2") and the scene where Spike goes crazy in "Jupiter Jazz pt. 1" [Cowboy Bebop]
the Ed v. Greed fights (especially the last one) [FmA]
and....
Fooly...? Cooly...?

yeah.... I tried not to make a stupid list, but oh well...
these are the ones that just popped in my head
kickass action sequences!

Goku vs. 1 star dragon, i like this one because it was the turning point of the whole plot.

cloud vs. sephiroth [ffac] O_O do i even have to say?
ryuji vs. ichigo [bleach] bada bing bada boom!'
Thousands of more fights that had me on my seat... but i geuss these are my few favorite.

He sacrifised himself....that was way too cool..

Do you guys remember the fight between Piccolo vs Goku [db] it was hella cool when little goku killed piccolo dai maku with his dragon fist.

Come on guys... Anime actions scenes aren't limited to fight scenes. For fantastic action sequences, you have the rescue of the crippled airliner in the opening episode of 'R.O.D. TV', and the launch of the space battleship while under fire in the opening episode of 'Martian Successor Nadesico'...

So it's only anime action scenes?
I'm not going into space combat right now with Macross etc.

Just a simple one on one battle, perhaps even the greatest one on one battle ever in an anime.

Saitou Hajime vs. Kenshin Himura/Hitokiri Battousai
Great emotion, awesome fighting and two evenly matched opponents.

I still have to go with the Subaru battle that took place on the bridge in the X tv series. Everything about it, the animation, the carnage, the music. Damn good fight.

Forgot all about X-TV, that series had some nice carnage going on. Especially how many of them end. Very original stuff.

Has anyone got some more scenes like the ones Len posted?
Space/land/air/sea/whatever battles and things like that?
