Ok my b-day is comin up and I am lookin for cool animes to buy i need some ideas I love animes and I need something to either watch or read........What really sounds good? I have full metal alchemist and full metal panic and cowboy beebop in mind but what are the ones I really need?
My mom also wants a good explanation on the difference between cartoons and anime I have an explanation but besides say they are better I am fresh out of ideas.....
Well i was gonna say Fullmetal Alchemist in all...hmm...well Samurai Champloo is pretty good(in my opinon)

By the way, if you like Cowboy Bebop, I recommend the movie. You can watch the series anytime on Adult Swim, they always replay it.
To answer the cartoons vs anime see the sticky at the top of this forum entitled "What is Anime???" Len says all that your mom really could ever want to know about what anime is. As far as what you should buy, as with the thousand others who ask that, it depends. People like different things, what interests you? Give examples of other TV shows/Movies you like, what is your age, etc....Quote:

I got FLCL, but I really don't know what you like, so I really can't tell you unless you're more specific.
