ive heard a lot of complaints about Blood:the last vampire. "its too short" "it doesnt make any sense" "not enough nudity" etc.
but the problem i had with it is that they tried to make it reflect the violence of humanity. the action was good, i didnt mind the mystery because japanese film-makers tend to leave things to the imagination rather than spell it all out like in some american films. but then at the end, it was like, they just stuck it in there because they thought they'd try to make it super meaningful. i just think it ruined the end of the movie.

I agree, the movie didn't explain hardly anything that was going on, I mean a little imagination doesn't hurt but still, it seemed like that's all they did, you don't know exactly "what" they are and you know almost nothing of the girl's history, except she's one of the last real vampires...
they could've done a much better job at explaining a couple things

Well... There only so much you can do in a two hour movie... It looks like we will get another chance when the Blood+ TV anime prequel series comes out this fall in Japan, and is schedualed to take the same 'Golden Hour' Saturday prime time spot that 'Full Metal Alchemist' was shown, and which 'Gundam Seed Destiny' currently occupies...
