Blood in Video Games

I totally hate blood in my games. I'm just really turned off from a game when there is excess blood in it. I understand that there are those that really really like it so I'm really glad when a developer will put a 'blood' setting in the options that allows you to control the level of blood/gore in the game. It's like burger king, "have it your way".

Well, I have nothing against blood in video games, but i do believe that that kind of stuff is bad influence to young kids. The age rating of games sometimes doesn't help anymore.

I agree. Most games go overboard with gore. Even Mortal Kombat gets a little crazy on max blood but you can turn it off.

If you dont like it, dont play it.....

HAhahaha......Mortal Combat makes me laugh....and kinda go "WOAH""Ehh"
That last one where if you knock a character off a building that like really tall...they fall ALLL the way down (camera following no duh) until he/she hits the bottom where their whole body just splits left/right/up/down/diagonal....you get the point.........and then The head of the character bounses RIGHT in your face and hits the camera.....It's bloody yes..But the blood iss sooooooo fake...that's why its funny and "Ehh" lol...Whatever the hell "Ehh" is.

I don't mind blood in video games as long as it isn't too crazy...Then I might get queasy.....But I like Mortal Kombat with max blood...Its hilarous!!God of War was a little over the top though....

likewise, the only games i dislike with blood, are the extremely gorey M games that spew out guts and crap....that's just sick...otherwise i'm usually fine

examples: DOOM 3, Quake4, and so on.
