Thread: Blood in Video Games

I don't really care as long as the Game ITSELF is good.....

i was brought up to dislike games with that kinda stuff, but in general, i love blood!! "rich red lucious blood" it tastes good. but in videogames, i dont really mind it too bad....unless it's like guts spewing out onto a first-person view....otherwise...blood is good....blood is good...

Bloody cut scenes can be a very good thing though. For instance in Deval May Cry 1 when Dante gets impaled and slides up until the sword rips out of him. Blood flies every where.

It all depends...........if there is too much of it.......I don't like it. I like them clean-------like Soul caliber.

There is an exceptable gore level, and I think most games that do have blood, respect that. Besides you want your games realistic, right? So, when I cut someones head off in a game, I want it to spill forth that red icor, rather then a pretty bouquette of red roses (come to think of it though, that would be kind of cool too), anyway.

Like I said, blood is needed for realisticness, but as long as its under control.

I dunno I've never really played games that were like REALLY bad....So I mean...I know that theres bad ones out there...I'm just a person who can stand blood...Whether or not I like it.....

theres also times with too much blood, like in prince of persia: warrior within....when you kick a zombies head off, or in a cut-scene where the prince just barely whacks a girl with the side of his hilt and theres a small about 2 foot wide cloud of blood...
