Thread: can any1 tell me how ppl do wallpapers so good?

First u find a image u like and EXTRACT the image "u may use scanning or a pre scanned image"

Then u need to think of something to make the image look good, using colors from the iamge will help u pic on a stlye for the background.

after that insert the image on the background u have made.

next adding effects from tutorials or ones you know how to create.

add ur name and copyright info and ur done.

but how do i make an image? do i get a program or make it on the paint thingy on the comp. and wat do you mean by adding effects from tutorials?

Using programs like Gimp and photoshop do all the pretty effects on the backgrounds

where can i find these programs and how much do they cost?

Well gimp is free and you can get it from:

And you have to buy photoshop, I've heard that it is expensive.
I just use Gimp it works fine with me. That's how i made my current siggie and avatar (currently in the works for a new one!)

ohhhh thank you very much you have enlighted me. sadly i cant use it cus this is my uncles comp. and i dont have the internet at my house so i dont think i can dl gimp cus of viruses hes gotten latly he dosent want dl anything.so i have to wait until i move to texas
