ive read it. im a major fan of CC. so i think you should read it.
it has some stuff that is not in the anime and some stuffi n the anime thats not in the manga like the firs episode has chrono and rossete sleeping in the car and then they get the call about the demon on the ship. in the manga they just arrive at the secen and crash the car. they dont get the call or anything. so i say read both the manga and see the anime.

That was Aion. That final scene takes place several decades in the future and the eiplogue says something about it being the day and place where the Pope was shot. The ending was a anti-climax as after all that Aion was still around.who was that guy again? the one in the last shot?
