    Code Lyoko

First of all, is it really an anime? Because if you read the credits, they have japanese names and companies. Second, what do you think of it?

    Grumble Grumble Grumble

The show doesn't show up in any of the Anime reference sites. The TV.com show listings indicate the program is French in origin with a original European voice cast. And since by definition, Anime is animation produced and targeted for a Japanese audiance, by definition, this is not Anime...

Don't let the existence of Japanese studios in the credits misguide you. The Japanese animation industry has the lowest costs of production of animation in the world, so ALOT of programs get sub-contracted to Japanese companies (as an example, X-Men Evolution was animated by studio Madhouse, and the upcoming G.I. Joe series coming out this fall is animated by studio GONZO...) The series shows an obvious Anime influence (like Teen Titans, and PowderPuff Girls), but is not true Anime...
