Green pixels =S? try install the newest XviD =P
Is been a will since my computer ad no prob with codec. Now when i try watching some of my fan sub anime, I've got no sound or no pic or i've got sound and video but there some big green pixel or bad video reading.
The funny part is a will ago, I've watched some video and it was OK, but now I watch then again and is like crap.
O_O What should i do.
Did you some great codec pack ???

hrm....i'm sure others will tell you to grab others but i just wiped out my XP and reinstalled all my codecs in the process. The only stuff I remember getting....
1. DivX
2. vlc player/codec (i think it comes as one, but i don't use the player)
oh and run with Windows Media Classic. WM10 will lag, DivX tends to crash, etc.
So far I haven't needed any more. There are more comprehensive stuff but....normal watching shouldn't take you too much.
as for the green pixels, if it only happens..."SOMETIMES" and not other times (ie: you play the same show twice and once you get weird pixely stuff, and the next time you don't...)
have you been tinkering? (ie: overclocking, etc?) green pixels don't usually show up for me, but when it does it's usually cuz my computers overloaded (not much space left on the HDs or memory overload)...or I haven't rebooted in a heck of a long time.

I would have to agree install the latest version of XviD and DivX if you haven't already. Plus I would suggest BS player for your watching .Originally Posted by TaMa

I use the Media Player Classic, most of the times it works XD sometimes it just doesn't want to play a movie and shut itself down >_>;
only when you've been watching too much anime and should be doing your work!!!Originally Posted by TaMa
