    Re: Comic Character Sketches

Now, I would like to ask for a favor from anyone willing to try, considering I don't have access to Photoshop, or any other artistic program besides paint, I was wondering if someone would be so kind as to help me put color into these images, just a rough coloring, just to see how they would look.

So, if anyone would be willing to do so, please, let me know and I will hash out the details.

Your pictures are good, although they look a bit.. hmm.. stiff, like a board was nailed to their back, study some anatomy and get a feeling for movement and stuff.. I could go on but yeah, They are still pretty good ^.^ keep practicing.

yeah, sometimes drawing the muscles and then the body helps with proportions and things of that nature...

also, looking through art books can really help with the posing and designing elements... good for inspiration as well...

i'm learning how to draw right now and it's really hard... but you're a lot better than me when i first started...

if that makes you feel any better...

    GOOD LUCK!!!

I started drawing when i was very young. and i first drew characters from marvel comics. Specifically x-men >.> . But yeah, drawing techniques and skill take time to develop. Just experiment with differant ways of concept and pre-sketching your pictures, helps out a lot.

Does anyone here have a good web site, or book that they would suggest using to help me out. I would greatly appreciate it. Any help would be awesome.
