![]() ![]() Credits: 9,052 | Re: Cutesy Anime Vs. Mature Anime Well, I would say the same thing almost everyone said: It depends on the storyline and content... But let me be honest to another opinion of mine: It depends on my mood. I'm happy as can be and the world is spinning flowers in the air: Do you really think I'm going to go watch Vampire Hunter D for breakfast? ¬.¬ |

Diamond in the Rough | Re: Cutesy Anime Vs. Mature Anime Well, I don't really separate my anime like that, my choice of anime depends on the art itself. Anime like Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, and Witchhunter Robin are on my list of favorites. But most Mature anime are drawn alike, and to my liking, so I'll have to go with Mature, all the way.

![]() ![]() Credits: 110 | Re: Cutesy Anime Vs. Mature Anime I like both, but if it's just too juvenile (sappy lines in every single scene)...then there's really no point. Basically: if it has a good plot, strong characters, and decent art, I will like it.

![]() ![]() Credits: 210 | Re: Cutesy Anime Vs. Mature Anime Yes content, drawing, storyline, characters.. all important to me. But I guess I would prefer mature anytime, I suppose I can relate way more to a Cowboy Bebop type anime then an Azumanga Daioh type of show.. |

Newbie | Re: Cutesy Anime Vs. Mature Anime I watch both. It depends on the mood, as Dark Angel Swordsman, said and time of day. I usually watch animes at night before sleep and it's hard for me to concetrate on sometnig serious but I watch serious animes with the light of the day when the head is clear. It would be boring to watch only one type of anime. And you can't see only mature animes cause you are gonna cut your veins for sure! After watching X, Elfenlied, Angels Sanctuary and some others you'll definitely need to watch something more cute, sweet and light otherwise you won't gonna go through the day. It's just too much. |

| Newbie | Re: Cutesy Anime Vs. Mature Anime I watch both depending on what I feel like ... there are days when something light and bubbly is the ticket ... then there are the times for deep thought provoking plotlines. Of course, its always nice IMO when you come across a show or series that manages to be multidimensional in its incorporation of more than one genre ... without giving the impression of being schizophrenic or manically unpredicable. |
