Yeah, I probably should have said $200CDN.

I never said I didn't like the touch screen, it's just the way they use it that I don't really like.

Well, apparently I have a DS now, guess I won't have to wait to see if I want one anymore.

Now, I just have to wait and see what the PSP can offer that my DS and laptop doesn't before I decide to get one of those.

And if anyone is interested. The pictochat thing on the DS is a nice feature, but while using it I noticed a limitation of the touch screen. The top few millimeters is non-responsive, well, atleast for mine. I didn't let it fully charge before I tried it, and I didn't check if there was a calibration I was suppose to do, so don't take these comments too seriously... yet.

Thing is, it's all about what you'd rather have in a handheld. PSP has some great games coming out, but it's mostly more serious, 1-player stuff. DS is mostly about connectivity. Me, I'd rather play with some friends and such, but PSP is fantastic for single player.

If I can, i'll be getting both.

By the way, you said the final fantasy series can't be continued in numbers for a different company than Sony? Wrongo. Japan has FFIII out, and most likely more to come.

It comes down to this. Would you rather play Mario Kat, or Need for Speed?

Yesh, i'll ened up getting both if I can, as I like any type of game all around. I just know that DS is popular with my friends, and connectivity is more fun than single player, for me.

    Hadn't researched as much.

    You've just changed my mind.

For the most part. I won't rush into buying. I'm going to wait and see what's going to be released in america game-wise, and i'll choose. Still, I want to get both, as I see the titles on each system are great in their own ways, But my primary, well, i'm going to have to wait and see. I'm leaning towards PSP, now. Analog control, sleek graphics, and now that I see, great connectivity. But I still need to see what's in store for the future, more information.

If I were to get either, it'd probably be the D.S. - can't go wrong with the original games that are coming out with it (Super Mario Bros., Legend of Zelda). Oh... to be able to play those again without having to expend all of my breath blowing dust out of the console and the games just to get the things to work.

In any case, I think I'd rather use the money to get an X-box since all I currently have is the PS2.

EA makes games for all systems, their not first party developers.

Also Final Fantasy is not OWNED by Sony... Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, Tactics Advance, Sword of Mana... ? Square-Enix knows their fanbase is and highest sales are on Playstation.

You're right about SquareEnix not being owned by Sony but the reason for not having the original Final Fantasy series(newer ones not the classics) on GameCube is because Sony made a contract to be the sole guys to have on Playstation until like 2007 or something. So you are going to have to deal Crystal Chronicals for a couple of years and hope that they make a multiplatform deal.

    nintendo rpgs suck ass

i guess what im trying to say is that anything that they have tried to do in the past, oh, 6,7 years in the way of rpgs was shit. i hate both paper marios, ogre battle was ok if you can even call it an rpg, PSO was a duplicate of an old sega game that was once popular but now isnt, and in short nintendo rpgs suck, cuz they havent even had very many! but on the other hand, their action and fps's were mostly AWESOME!!! (there were a few exeptions, like 007: agent under fire, and star fox adventures) i forgot about a good rpg they actually had. but know i cant think of it. it was for the gc though.ill think of it.
