Originally he came to me if a dream (sounds gay, doesn't it?)
Anyway, In my dream, he was standing atop a mountain, clad completely in black shining armour. Two enormous white wings were extended to either side of him and he had these long locks of grey hair fluttering in the wind. There were storm clouds flashing lightning below the sumit of the mountain, and above there was the moon looking more massive and powerful than ever before.
Mazzerok holds up his hand, and manifests a tiny replica of the moon. Then, with the greatest of ease, he crushes the little stone model, and with it in the sky, the moon, as powerful as it looked crumbled to a million pieces.
It was spectacular. Probably the most amazing thing I've ever seen.
After that it was just a matter of choosing a name. I went with Mazzerok, one my brother suggested, in the end.
It my stories, though, I have to tone down his awesomeness so the protagonists have at least a fighting chance. In his original glory he's too awesome for anyone to have even a prayer against him.
