whats the songlist bud? is it better then the Japanese Extreme? just asking cause thats my favorite mix (US Extreme was missing half the songs that the Japanese Extreme had) guessing they probably put Max.Period on it eh?

I feel the pain felt by one, Soldat of life. Unless of course this DDR Extreme 2 is on XBox! Please, oh please! .... Doubt it
It would be sweet though. There's only 2 DDR games for XBox so far. Lameness. Word.

The great Cybergig1 plays DDR? why can't people liv near me so a mega party/tournament could take place, thought I'd get beaten by some and beat quite a few as well XD

I found this thought at http://news.gaminghorizon.com/media2...4340.2050.html

    Partial Tracklist

Against All Odds (Take a Look at Me Now) - Déjà Vu featuring Tasmin
As the Rush Comes (Gabriel & Dresden Sweeping Strings Radio Edit) - Motorcycle
Block Rockin' Beats - The Chemical Brothers
    Boom Boom Dollar (K.O.G G3 Mix) - King Kong & D.Jungle Girls
    Butterfly (Upswing Mix) - Smile.dk
Captain Jack (Grandale remix) - Captain Jack
Cartoon Heroes (Speedy Mix) - Barbie Young
Crazy in Love - wg feat. Indra J
Genie in A Bottle - nc ft. NRG Factory
    Get Busy - Sean Paul
    I Will Survive - Akira feat.Daline
In the Heat of the Night - E-Rotic
    Irresisiblement - Wildside
La Copa de la Vida - Patrick Victorio
Look at Us (Daddy DJ Remix) - Sarina Paris
My My My - Armand Van Helden
Oops!...I Did It Again - Akira feat. Susan Z
Play That Funky Music - wg feat. Tony L
Pump Up The Volume - M.A.R.R.S.
Silence (Airscape Remix) - Delerium with Sarah McLachlan
    Speed Over Beethoven - Rose
Spin Spin Sugar (Armand's Dark Garage Mix) - Sneaker Pimps
Wonderful Night (radio edit) - Fatboy Slim
You Gotta Move It (feat. Julie Rugaard) - Yuzo Koshiro

EDIT: If the game is really popular, the list should appear at Gamefaqs or DDRfreaks soon enough. And on gamespot, 19 people rated already and the average is 9,7/10 so it just might be good XD

I've only played it a few times at a couple different arcades, but it is SERIOUSLY addicting. I'm not that great, but it was still fun.

That's the songlist that you get from the very beginning. It's good that Konami has finally provided us with some decent licenses! All of the new american licenses have very good steps. Both "As the rush comes" and "Block rockin' Beats" and "Get Busy" (which are all 8s) are full of chaos and tricky patterns. Wonderful Night is also a 8 but I could see it passing for a 9 with it's incredibly long streams. It's extremely fun though. The KR coves are much, much better this time around. I found myself falling in love with "Genie in a bottle" and "I will survive".

In terms of unlockables, there are lots of songs from Extreme and Max2 but mostly the better ones that we didn't get last year. Plus a lot of new songs which haven't been on any mix previously. This is NOT another Extreme. This version is much more polished in terms of music selection and gameplay. And Max. is not on here. Which leaves out only a feel other contenders for the 3 10 steps that they put in this game.

They also added 2 new modes. Survival and Combo Challenge.
    Too cool for a sig.

    Re: Dance Dance Revolution

With the PS2 controller I can do quite a bit: Everything except Max 300 and MaxX Unlimited in the games DDR:Max and DDR:Max 2. I haven't got Extreme or Extreme 2, but got a feel at the arcade and with DWI(Dance With Intensity, PC version from an amateur that is quite talented).

The controller doesn't give much challenge once you get the hang of it, but with the feet, the fun never stops XD, unless your tired, sick or have no more money if at the arcade. At home, my plastic thing called a pad isn't even near the fun that the arcade offers....and I keep slipping on the tunes at Heavy. Maybe I should nail the pad down or something XD
