![]() ![]() Credits: 491 | Re: darwin: was he right in your eyes? Although Darwin had very few clues compared to current scientists, he got the principle right. More and more DNA analyses prove that what he suggested is true. Firstly, there is a common predecessor to monkeys and humans, but it's now extinct and this makes for a slightly larger distance from the monkeys. The DNA of the monkeys and us was found to be very similar and many genes responsible for the specific differences were found. They are mostly defects on the original monkeys' properties that freed the room for our new ones, the most prominent being the reduction of the chewing muscle to allow for larger skull without breaking it; the body hairs underwent the same knockout. God as presented by the church is utter nonsense. If one exists, he is on a higher position and doesn't need to create any organisms. In fact, if he existed, he would have to be totally ignorant to everything, because he would be a mere spectator. Maybe he uses us as a screensaver. ![]() |

I'm not saying there's no way it can be right, I'm just stating that for the first part. 2nd... of course God would have NO NEED AT ALL TO CREATE US AS AN EXISTANCE. God does not NEED anything, He IS EVERYTHING and NOTHING. However, whoever said we made everything for what we needed? Then people question whether or not God is so selfish that we are just there for His amusement. But both of the statements are false. In one explanation, they say that God's glory is so great, that it overflowed... henceforth the "creation" of us. But that seems a little iffy, doesn't it? ^_^ Well, it's reasonable if you think about it hard enough. However, you could say that God DOES have a plan for us. To what, we can't say assuredly. We ain't God. Or however, there are tons... but one that can be noteably placed down is: We are God. Not neccessarily that we ARE God. However... by taking several religions out of context, getting every single "TRUTH" into a general matter... they seem to connect. So... it ends up, that because GOD IS EVERYTHING, we are that everything. And that creation of everything and the existance of nothing is God Himself. That everything beyond comprehension and within grasp is God. That God is Love. Then there is: God is Love. And how can love be expressed when there is nothing to love? So... our creation. .... but I'm just listing.. let's get back on topic. -_- | |

I believe that Darwin was on crack. Somehow his theory took hold when some other people did the work for him. I don't think the "evidence" that was found later was interpreted right though. Your statement also has nothing to do with Darwin. Your statement just basically says that things adapt, and I believe that is totally possible. My experience in medicine and life brings me to two theories hold over all others. The second law of thermodynamics and Ackham's Razor. Darwin's theory of evolution goes against both of these...
