I haven't seen such a thing....maybe because it's not a market that is broad enough for companies to make enough money to cover the costs??

Yeah, they dont really create a means of making your own wallscroll, especially online. If you want to get creative and do your own via Illustrator or something, you could always do that, but as for an actual one, I think you're better off just getting on thats pre-made.

I'd kill for a service like that.

Trick is providing a high enough quallity image for reproduction.

That and there is obviously Copyright issues here, since if you don't own the copyright for the image you want, you can't have a copy made for it.

But if a service like this existed, I'd get this image done in a heart beat



maybe I might get lucky and find it at the next Con that comes to calgary

Otherwise check out sites like animecastle and places like that.

ill try to find a site latr.. but i know theres places that will print you off a HUGE print of the image. just look in the yellow book of your phone books under printers.

This is very true. I work for a company with large format printer (36" x 150' rolls), and if your image isn't at least 200 p/i, it appears fuzzy or out of focus up close.

Fair use policy states that you can use images for your own personal use if you have purchased the original copy. It is the same ruling for duplication or "back-up" of music. You just can not sell it/give it away, make claims to have made it, or post it in a public area where one could argue that you are benifiting from its being there (ie. putting it in your anime store window, if you owned an anime store).

The only places that I've seen custom wall scrolls made are those tiny stands you find in malls. Like everyone said they aren't popular and if you can find a place who can do it, you need a big picture. You can try photo development studios as well. Some of them might be able to do it.

Yeah, like I said your best bet is to go to staples and have them enlarge the picture into a big board, but not a wallscroll
