i can say metal took a hit from this. one of metal's best guitarists was killed a couple nights ago while touring with Damageplan. he was also known to be in Pantera if anyone listens to them. i've listened to Pantera for a while and i really liked the Damageplan stuff. so i have to mourn for the death of a metal legend.

Didn't really like Pantera, but no one deserves to die.
Especially not by a psycho who kills guitar players. The stupid gunman got what he deserved, although I cannot say the same for the guitarist.
man that's sad, a memory shall he remain in everyone's hearts.
I loved Dime, he inspired me to play guitar, but I think the saddest thing is that poor Vinnie had to sit there and watch his brother die. Very disturbing.
Ya I heard about this during college afew days ago, can't say I ever heard of the guy, or his group or whatever groups he was in. But that is a pretty awful to die, may he rest in peace.
