Thread: DNAngel english version

I watched like one min of the english version at my friends house...why only one min? the voices...I just couldn't stand them.

I liked Diaske's and Darks voices. Riku and Risa how ever drove me up the wall. I still watch the series but those two voices annoy me way to much

That is the bigest mistake ever if you have seen many animes convert to english they become a lot worse some times they even make it more cartoon-ish by editing the language so they dont curse or have less blood. Usally the voices are the most annoying and soooo off when they make this change. The only thing that is good is that once aird on tv in north america it will most likely get more people into anime and that is always a good thing!

I just watched this a few days ago. Im not sure if it is one of my favorite shows, but I found the English voice acting to be tolerable. I find it funny that HibikiLink didn't like Riku's voice. I find Hilary Haag's voice to be very sexy. Though I liked her more as Riku than Tessa from FMP.

While I agree that most anime have better japanese voice actors, there are a few shows that are an exception to this. Last Exile is an excellent example.

Another thing, by what you said in your posts it doesn't sound like you finished the series. I for one have learned that a lot of shows can start of slow or even stupid, and that you have to watch the whole thing to actually be able to make a real decision as to whether it was good or not. As I said, it is probably not one of my favorites, but I felt it was actually quite good and I enjoyed it quite a bit.

if you don't like the english, then just watch it in Japanese...

it's simple... don't put up with that dubbed crap!

besides, Japanese language has more emotion! and feeling! and tings!!!!

it also depends on the company that dubbed it...

haha yeah. MOST English dubbed animes are pretty crap, not saying the Anime itself is crap but the voices in them. It just annoys the hell out of me >_<

haha i would like the english versions to be as good as the japanese as i have to put up wiv the english cuz of my mate hu hates the japanese version for some reason
