Umm.. I was curious ^-^ Since this is my first time at joining a forum I'm not sure if you need permission.....
I have pictures I usually save on my computer just for fun. But I wasn't sure if I could place a picture on the profile or avatar unless permission from the artist was given.
So, can just use any picture or do I need permission from the artist? If anyone can help that would be great!

you should ask permission of the artist, yes.
we get verry PO'd when we find people are ripping off our work without so much as by-your-leave.
please ask permission from the artist. we really appreciate it

You won't get it wrong if you ask them, and I see no rules against profile pics as long as they follow dimension size...right DR.?

i thought he was talking about using an avatar he got online somewhere! D'OH!

(i still say you should ask the artist's permission before using an avatar they made..... speaking purely as an artist myself)
